On Wednesday, Pringles teased its upcoming Super Bowl ad with a photo of an unidentified celebrity’s mustache
Is Travis Kelce joining forces with Pringles just in time for the 2024 Super Bowl? Fans on social media certainly think so.
On Wednesday, Pringles announced that it is returning to Super Bowl Sunday with a new ad for the seventh year in a row. Like last year, the company’s ad will feature a celebrity, but they are keeping quiet about who it will be for now.
Pringles teased the upcoming ad on Instagram by sharing a photo of the Pringles can man next to a mystery celebrity with a steering wheel moustache. “Once you see it… you can’t unsee it,” reads the text on the image.
In the caption, the company added: “The big game is almost here, so we’re upping our ‘mustache game. Who do you think it belongs to?”

Number one in the comments section so far is Kelce, the 34-year-old tight end from Kansas City known for having a strong mustache game and also had a great year in 2023 thanks to both his performance on the football field and his high-profile relationship with Taylor Swift.
Besides, Kelce is no stranger to commercials. In the past year, he has appeared in ads for Campbell’s, DirecTV, Pfizer and Experian, among others. In December, The Wall Street Journal reported that the NFL star was featured in more game-day commercials than any other celebrity.

Add to that his popular podcast with brother Jason Kelce, who recently announced his retirement from the NFL, and his successful Saturday night live visit in March 2023, and it becomes clear that Kelce has a big moment. But that doesn’t guarantee he’s a Julius Pringles lookalike.
There are plenty of other celebrities with famous mustaches who could star in a commercial, including Jason Sudeikes, whose mustachioed character Ted Lasso first came to life in a series of NBC Sports commercials.
Whoever stars in Pringles’ Super Bowl 2024 ad will be in good company. Past celebrities who have appeared in the brand’s Game Day spots include Bill Hader and Meghan Trainor.

Trainor appeared in Kellogg’s 2023 ad, which focused on how common it is to get your hand stuck in a can of Pringles while reaching for that last, elusive chip. At the time, the “Made You Look” singer told PEOPLE she believed she got the call to star in the ad because she was expecting her second child, Barry, at the time, and “babies bring happiness.”
“I think babies bring happiness,” she said. “I fully believe it because a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant, we received a call. [Pringles] he asked me to be in their commercial for the big game and I said, ‘Me? Are they safe?’ I cried.”
She added: “I cried and called my family. My brothers are big sports guys, so they said, ‘Oh my God!’ It was like winning a Grammy all over again. It was the best call of my life.”
Super Bowl LVIII airs February 11 on CBS.
