Why Sofía Vergara Said ‘That’s It!’ and Walked Off ‘America’s Got Talent’

Sofia Vergara has had enough!

In Wednesday’s results episode American talentVergara walked off the stage after fellow judge Howie Mandel made a joke about her new single status following her divorce from estranged husband Joe Manganiello.

The over-the-top prank came when Vergara, 51, took a lie detector test – while sitting on a throne made of tater tots in honor of show sponsor Sonic – at the request of fellow judge Simon Cowell.

When Mandel, 67, jokingly asked if there was anyone in the audience she was “interested in,” she put her foot down.

“That’s it!” she declared, storming off the stage and laughing back to her seat at the judge’s table.

This is not the first time that Mandel has recently mocked the love life of his fellow judge.

In the first AGT season 18 live, he joked, “If you’re looking for eligible bachelors, you should have talked to Sofia because she’s on the market right now.”

After getting a reaction, the judge later clarified that he wasn’t actually trying to accommodate her and emphasized that she “doesn’t need my help.”

“I think everyone watching and available believes they are the perfect match for Sofia,” he explained to Extra in that time. “I don’t think, Sofía, to be honest… that she doesn’t need my help. She really doesn’t.”

Mandel continued to mock Vergara in the weeks that followed. He recently asked a fellow judge on Tuesday night,

“You like relationship comedy, don’t you? Too soon?” after the performance of comedian Orlando Leyba with stories from his married life.

Sofía Vergara’s Buzzy Return to ‘America’s Got Talent’ Amid Joe Manganiello’s Divorce

In July, Vergara and Manganiello (46) announced their “difficult” decision to separate in a joint statement. They were married for seven years and got married in November 2015.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce,” they said in a statement to Page Six. “As two people who love and care for each other very much, we kindly ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

The news came right after Modern family the actress was spotted celebrating her birthday in Italy without magical mike actor or her wedding ring.

“They’ve been drifting apart for a while now and trying to work things out, but they’re focused on different areas of their lives,” a source close to Vergara previously shared with PEOPLE. “They definitely love and respect each other, but once that initial passion subsides and other areas get in the way, small differences become bigger.”
