Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan and More to Embark on Massive 2024 Outlaw Music Festival Tour This Summer

Willie Nelson Goes “On the Road Again” — With Many Special Guests!

On Tuesday, the 90-year-old country music legend announced that his annual Outlaw Music Festival tour is returning this summer and revealed that his Family Band, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant & Allison Krause and John Mellencamp will headline the tour.

Joining them on select dates will be country star Brittney Spencer, soul singer Celisse and Memphis five-piece band Southern Avenue, as well as bluegrass artist Billy Strings for a special performance.

This year’s Outlaw Music Festival kicks off on June 21st in Alpharetta, Georgia, and continues through the summer before wrapping up on September 17th in Buffalo, New York. The Grammy winner and his A-list musicians will play a total of 25 shows, primarily in amphitheaters across North America.

Celisse will appear at the first show, then provide support for Spencer, and Southern Avenue will help close the tour. Strings will only appear at a show outside of Seattle in George, Washington, where he will open with Spencer.

The musicians join an impressive list of past Outlaw Music Festival performers, as stars such as Tyler Childers, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, Neil Young and many more have joined the tour since its 2016 .the beginning.

Nelson shared a statement in a press release to express his excitement about the upcoming concerts. “This year’s Outlaw Music Festival tour promises to be the biggest and best yet with this lineup of legendary acts. I’m thrilled to be back on the road with my family and friends playing the music we love for the fans we love,” said the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.

Dylan, 82, previously joined the “Always On My Mind” singer for several dates on his 2017 tour, but this year marks their first extended run together. The two icons will be teaming up after they both embark on their own solo tours this spring.

When Nelson celebrated his 90th birthday last April, he revealed to PEOPLE his commitment to staying off the road. “I have a lot of fun playing for the crowd,” he said. “There’s a great exchange of energy there. That’s what keeps me going.”

According to the official Outlaw Music Festival Tour Instagram account, tickets are now available for presale with the code OUTLAW24 at http://outlawmusicfestival.com/presale. Citi cardholders also have access to the pre-sale from now until Thursday at 10pm local time. On Friday, the general sale will begin at 10am local time at http://OutlawMusicFestival.com.
