A 38-year-old woman who is being treated in the hospital was also seriously injured.

Police are questioning a 17-year-old Lancashire boy on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following a double stabbing in a popular Dorset resort.

Amien’s friend said: “It’s so shocking what happened. She was a wonderful human being and had no enemies.

“There is a lot of speculation as to why she was attacked – could it have been a robbery?”

Police investigating the attack on Bournemouth’s Durley Chine beach are questioning a 17-year-old boy from Lancashire on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Amie, from Poole, married in 2017 in a civil ceremony but recently split from wife Sian Gray, according to friends.

Amie wore a blue suit for their wedding, while Sian, 38, wore a white wedding dress.

Following the news of Amie’s murder, Sian posted a photo of their wedding with a heart emoji.

Friends of the former couple commented: “Beautiful photos to keep” and “Thinking of you x”.

Sian runs a beauty salon from her home, which Amie posted on social media while the two were together.

Sian was being comforted by relatives at her home in Poole yesterday.

Amie worked in sales and was also a personal fitness trainer who was the head coach of the women’s futsal team — Dorset Futsal Club.

She received her coaching badge from the FA in January.

Over the weekend, the club changed its profile picture to a black square.

Amien’s cousin posted photos of her receiving a recent award for her work at the club.

Grieving friends commented below: “So sorry for your loss, she was a beautiful person.”

‘DEVASTATING NEWS’

One friend posted on Facebook: “I can’t believe what I’m hearing now. I literally talked to you last night and was supposed to see you tomorrow.”

She added: “DUT THE F***ING KNIVES DOWN YOU LITTLE JACKS. Fly high Amie Gray.”

The attack happened as thousands of families were arriving for the holiday weekend.

Yesterday, a mile-long stretch of beach remained closed from Bournemouth Pier to Alum Chine, where flowers were laid.

On Friday, at 11:42 p.m., the police received a report that two people had been stabbed.

They called for witnesses to come forward as they carried out searches with metal detectors and checked CCTV.

Residents said there were people on the beach late Friday night, drinking and enjoying the mild weather.
