WONDER Years alum Fred Savage looks unrecognizable in a rare appearance outside his Los Angeles home after being fired from the reboot of the cult series.
In photos exclusively obtained by The US Sun, Fred, 47, appears to be a far cry from his role as cherub-faced Kevin Arnold in Wonder Years, which aired from 1988 to 1993.

Kevin, who was axed from the ABC reboot last year after “multiple complaints of bad behaviour”, appeared to hide his famous face behind large sunglasses and a baseball cap as he walked his dog in the California sunshine.
The married father of three has been out of the limelight since being fired from his role as director and executive producer of the 2022 Wonder Years reboot.
The first season premiered in 2021, and the show was officially canceled last month after its second season, according to Entertainment Weekly.
In a statement to Deadline, parent company ABC Disney said: “We were recently made aware of allegations of inappropriate behavior by Fred Savage, and as is policy, an investigation has been launched.
“Upon its completion, the decision has been made to terminate his employment as executive producer and director of The Wonder Years.”
ACCUSATIONS
In their report, sources told Deadline that the allegations against the star include: “verbal outbursts and inappropriate behavior,” though details of his termination or investigation have not been confirmed.
The reboot, in which he directed eight episodes – depicts a middle-class black family in Montgomery, Alabama during the 1960s.
Fred was the youngest actor nominated for an Emmy for his original role in the first series of the 80s sitcom
However, his fame was mired in controversy.
F-RED FLAGS
Fred faced allegations when he starred opposite Rob Lowe in the Fox series The Grinder.
In that incident, a crew member sued the actor and accused him of assaulting and harassing her on set in 2015 – allegations Fred denied.
Fred called the crew members’ claims “totally unfounded and absolutely untrue.”
Her case was settled out of court.
The actor also faced charges when he was 16.
In 2018, Alley Mills who played Fred’s mother on The Wonder Years said that the original series had been canceled, according to Yahoo! because of the lawsuit against him.
At the time, Alley called the allegations “ridiculous.”
Deadline split, Monique Long filed a sexual harassment lawsuit in 1993 against then 16-year-old Fred and his co-worker, then 20-year-old Jason Hervey.
The costume designer accused both actors of verbally and physically harassing her, asserted that she was unable to perform her job, and was fired.
Her lawsuit was also settled out of court after an undisclosed settlement was reached.
Nearly three decades later, Alley has come forward and said the ’90s sitcom was canceled “because of” it.
