MVG-ready Littler at his best

Luke Littler knows how good Michael van Gerwen is and is ready to face the Green Machine at his best on the Ally Pally stage tonight.

Van Gerwen is chasing his fourth world title, while Littler is looking for his first, but Nuke knows his opponent won’t be complacent at Oche.

Speaking to the media yesterday, he said: “He’s chasing his fourth title and I’m chasing my first. It’s been a while since Michael lifted the trophy (in 2019), so I know he’ll be ready for it and I certainly am.”

Littler added: “We’ve played 12 or 13 times this year, we know how each other can play.

“And I’ll say it again, this is the final of the World Cup – anything can happen.

“So whoever comes out the best tomorrow wins.”

Littler vs Van Gerwen one on one
