There was nothing Asp could do to stop Littler from taking a fourth straight set.
But Nuke misses the mark and is left on 24. Aspinall, under pressure, can’t close on 130.
Littler misses double 10 and double 5!
Asp then misses twice, failing on double 16.
Littler advances and records a no score, giving Asp a chance who FINALLY finds that double. What did I say?!

A beautiful dart. Littler’s ninth 180 leaves him on 101.
But Asp hits a 180 to put it at 32 and put some real pressure on Nuke.
Littler completes 101! Unreal.
Littler 1-0 Aspinall (3-1 in sets)
Littler is 54 years old and is now 56 years old.
Aspinall’s 134 must go. But he can’t collect it, it can be seen that he is under pressure.
Nuke gets his favorite double 10 and there’s no doubt it’s there? He leads.

180 from Littler and he can score 82 in just 11 darts.
Nuke comes back and does it!

140 leaves Aspinall at the finish.
Littler’s 135 leaves him on 78. You feel Asp must get this if he is to break the toss.
He doesn’t want to – at 81 – and Littler needs a bull… misses again!
Asp needs 83 and he is so close to the goal, hitting the outer ring.
Five for double 10, and Littler raises the set.

Asp wants tops, can’t.
Then double 10, and he’s off the wire.
Littler has covered 190 miles, so he will give it another go.
Aspinall comes back and gets the double 10 he needs to keep his roll.
