WWE Star Baron Corbin Calls Taylor Swift 'Humble' and Talks of 'Wild' Moment They Met: ‘She Doesn't Act Like a Star'

WWE star Baron Corbin is considering meeting Taylor Swift!

In a new interview published Aug. 29, the pro wrestler, 39, praised Swift, 34, for being “so humble” while talking about first meeting the singer at a Kansas City Chiefs game last season. Swift attended in support of her boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Upon request from TV Insider what he recalled from the meeting and the response after he posted the clip with Swift on social media, he said: “It’s wild. The greatness she brings to everything. It was great.”

Corbin continued, “But the biggest takeaway for me is when you’re around her, she doesn’t act like a star. He acts like a normal amazing person. She is very sweet.”

The WWE star and former football player met the Grammy winner in a photo he posted together at a Chiefs game on X (formerly Twitter) on December 10, 2023, which then went viral. Swift and Kelce had been publicly dating for about three months at the time.

“The team is back, let’s go! #ChiefsKingdom,” he captioned the post at the time.

Corbin continued to rave about his encounter with Swift in his TV Insider interview, saying: “As soon as I met her, she gave you a big hug. Then you say, ‘This is crazy. She’s the biggest star on the planet right now.’ ”

“It’s nice to see someone so humble and behave in such a way. It really teaches you that people who have egos shouldn’t. See how the world’s biggest star behaves. It should be the same.”

Swift has attended several Chiefs games in support of boyfriend Travis Kelce.

Comparing Swifties to WWE fans, Corbin joked that they were “similar.”

“Both are diehards. If someone comes at Taylor, her entire army destroys them. The same thing happens when someone is looking for a WWE superstar,” he added.

Corbin’s report of meeting the singer at a game comes after Swift attended a number of Chiefs games last season in support of her boyfriend Kelce.

The Chiefs player also appeared on the singer’s Eras Tour concerts in various stops around the world, including London and Sydney — even making a cameo on stage during her concert at Wembley Arena in London.
