BMX rider TJ Lavin paid tribute to him on Instagram, expressing his condolences to Casey’s family.

Who won skateboarding at the X Games 2023?
In the X Games 2023 skateboarding event, two young Australian skateboarders emerged victorious and made history in their respective categories.
Chloe Covell, a 13-year-old skateboarder from the Gold Coast, won the women’s street competition. She became the youngest winner of the X Games street skating event, beating a strong field of competitors, including Olympic gold medalist Momiji Nishiya of Japan and Brazilian star Leticia Bufoni. This remarkable feat enabled her to secure a gold medal in the garden competition. In the process, she also defeated 10-year-old Reese Nelson of Canada, who made history as the youngest medalist in the 29-year history of the X Games, winning the silver medal.

Ryan Williams X Games
Ryan Williams, popularly known as R-Willy, is an Australian freestyle scooter and BMX rider who has gained fame for his impressive skills and daring tricks. He was born on June 22, 1994, and grew up on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. His mother was a former top-rated BMX racer, which likely influenced his passion for extreme sports.
At the age of 7, Williams watched the documentary “Ultimate X” about the X Games in 2001, which sparked his interest in action sports. He started skateboarding and later switched to skateboarding at the age of 12 after discovering his local skatepark in Caloundra. Finally, at the age of 15, he started riding BMX.
