Xavien Howard of the Dolphins is not married to Keela Long. He is, however, engaged to his girlfriend, Keeli Long. It is said to have started with an argument over a pocketbook and escalated into a violent fight. Howard allegedly grabbed his girlfriend by both arms and pushed her against a mirrored glass wall in their hallway during an argument.
As a result, she fell to the ground, her right arm resting on his crutch from recent knee surgery. The fall caused obvious scratches, redness and bruising to his right wrist, forearm and elbow, according to Davie police. Xavien Howard was then arrested and held at the Davie Police Station in Broward County. He spent some time in the Broward County Sheriff’s Office jail after his release before settling the matter with Keeli and leaving. This case was not Xavien Howard’s first legal battle in the last year. A previous case in which a woman claimed he intentionally spread a sexually transmitted disease added to the legal complications in his personal life.
