8. After that, you can continue to use your account as is or set a new password. It is recommended that you set a new password immediately to avoid losing access to your account again.
9. Enter the new password twice and press ‘Continue’.
10. In the next step, you can also update your Yahoo account recovery information, or if everything is already up to date, click ‘Looks good’.
11. When you see the message ‘Your security settings are now up to date’, press ‘OK, I understand’.

Reset your password using a secondary email address
- Go to the Yahoo Sign In Assistant page and click “Difficulty signing in.”
- Enter the recovery email address associated with your Yahoo account.
- Then select ‘Yes, send me a verification code’ when asked ‘Do you have access to this email’?
- Sign in to your recovery email address to have Yahoo send you the code. Enter the code and click ‘Continue’.
- Then click on the Yahoo email address associated with your recovery email address.

- Open the Yahoo login page.

- After successfully logging into your Yahoo account, you will be able to see your previous data. However, some of the data may be permanently lost during the time you deleted the account.
Reactivating a deleted Yahoo account may take some time.
Note: A Yahoo account can only be reactivated up to 90 days after the time you scheduled the account to be deleted. Additionally, deleted Yahoo Mail accounts cannot be recovered after 365 days or if the account has violated Yahoo’s terms.
Recover Yahoo password without phone number and email address
To recover your Yahoo password, it is important to have access to some of the following information:
- Email address or phone number to login
- Recovery phone number
- Recovery email address
