Reports of Yahoo Mail’s Downdector outage spiked this afternoon.
More than 3,700 complaints have been filed as users flood social media with reports.
When was there a Yahoo outage before?
There have been other reported Yahoo outages in the past, including:
- July 2021: Yahoo’s email service was reported to be out of service around 3:30 PM for about two hours.
- February 2021: Users reported issues with both Yahoo’s app and website.
- January 2021: More than 55 percent of people could not log into their email or read their mail.
- September 2020: Users experienced problems logging into the platform, with the highest number of reports at 7 p.m.
How can I check if Yahoo is working?
Those who may have difficulties with Yahoo can check other social media apps, such as X or Facebook for reports.
