While shooting for the TV serial Teen Bahuraniyaan (2007), he met Indian TV actress Amrapali Gupta. Soon, they became friends and were often spotted together after the shoot. They started dating and tied the knot on November 28, 2012. The couple has a son named Kabir Sinha.

He started his career as a theatre actor and worked with the theatre group “Yatra”. In 2006, he made his acting debut in the Hindi television serial “Kaajjal-Sabbki Aankhon Mein Basi” where he played the role of Ranbir. He has acted in various Hindi television serials such as “Teen Bahuraniyaan” (2007), “Afsar Bitiya” (2011), “Code Red” (2015) and “Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti” (2020).
