Yashwini Singh Deswal is an Indian professional shooter. She is best known for winning the gold medal in the 10m air pistol event at the 2019 ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. Yashaswini represented India and secured a reserved spot for the 2020 Summer Olympics. In 2021, the Indian government announced that she would participate in shooting at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, which was earlier postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In 2012, Yashswini Singh Deswal was inspired to take up shooting as a sport while watching the 2010 Commonwealth Games in India. In the same year, Yashaswini Singh Deswal started participating in school national-level shooting championships and won her first gold medal in Pune, Maharashtra. In 2014, in Nanjing, China, Yashavini Singh Deswal got the opportunity to participate in the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games. In the finals of the 10-meter air pistol event, she won the sixth round. In 2015, Yashswini Singh won a gold medal at the Asian Airsoft Championships in Delhi along with teammates Heena Sidhu and Shweta Gwande. After winning this championship, she won the title of “Junior National Champion” in Indian shooting. In 2016, she won two silver medals, an individual silver medal and a team silver medal at the ISSF Youth World Cup in Suhl, Germany. In the same year, in another competition held in Kabala, Azerbaijan, Yashavini Singh won the gold medal in the ISSF Junior World Cup team event. Yashswini Singh Deswal won the gold medal in the team event at the 2016 South Asian Games; however, she won the bronze medal in the individual event. In 2017, she won the gold medal in the 10-meter air pistol event at the ISSF Junior World Championships with a score of 235.9 points. In 2018, at the Kumar Surendra Singh Championships, Yashwini Singh Deswal won the gold medal in the mixed air pistol event along with her partner Abhishek Verma.
In 2019, Yashswini Singh Deswal won the gold medal at the ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro. After winning this competition, she earned a spot at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
Yasha Sweeney defeated her opponent, former world and Olympic champion Olena Kostevych, in the final of the 2019 ISSF World Cup in Rio de Janeiro.
