Yellowstone Cast Shares Photos from Set as Production on Final Episodes Continues: 'Let’s Get to Work'

The Dutton Ranch is alive and well—even without its patriarch.

Production of the last series of episodes Yellowstone began in Montana on May 20, and while Kevin Costner, who has played John Dutton on the Paramount series since it premiered, has confirmed he won’t be returning, the rest of the cast is happy to be back on familiar ground.

On May 23rd, Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler, kicked off the cast announcements about the new season by sharing a beautiful photo of a rainbow over a mountain range and thinking about returning to Montana for the series.

“Good morning #montana. Missed you old friend! If you’re going to rise, you might as well shine,” Hauser, 49, wrote in the caption.

Ryan Bingham, who plays Walker, a ranch hand on the Dutton estate, has also released several photos and videos since production began on the last half of Season 5.

On June 17, he posted a video of driving on rural roads, captioning it: “Snow falling in June. @yellowstone #Montana.”

He also shared a selfie with co-star Jen Landon – which she also posted – as they posed in the backseat of a truck with Jake Ream.

“Back to rock,” Bingham (43) captioned the selfie, while Landon (40) wrote “Summer Roadtrip ✨.”

“It’s been a year and a half. I’m excited to see my castmates,” Hauser said.
