The song “La Bebe” is proof that the 23-year-old singer-songwriter, Yng Lvcas, a native of Guadalajara, Jalisco, has established himself as one of the leaders of the new wave of urban music singers. However, after the success that landed him on numerous international charts, he was contacted by Featherweight aka Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija to remix this song.
In an interview with Publimetro, Yng Lvcas explained that he joined Featherweight thanks to a mutual connection, and although he initially thought of other musicians for the remix, something in his head told him that two Mexican artists would make a fantastic combination, “There was no no one to take reggaeton to the end,” he added. “I thought the featherweight would be amazing and I said yes without thinking and he was great too.
