How many eggs are in the picture?

Puzzle fans were left scratching their heads over what the real number was.

You will need to note the eggs that are not shown.

So if your first answer was 16, you are wrong.

The best way to find out is to start at the bottom.

Four times four means that 16 is only at the bottom.

The next row is three by three, which gives you nine.

And the row after that is two by two, which gives you four.

That leaves the higher self alone.

So 16 + 9 + 4 + 1.

That gives you a total of 30 eggs.
