But you must find the cunning snake hidden in this optical illusion before it attacks.

The extraordinary photos were shared on Facebook by a Down Under based company of extraordinary snake catchers.

Snake catchers in Brisbane and the Gold Coast often come across snakes that are masters of disguise when called to work.

But this one really took the cake and left social media users confused.

The image shows an apparently inconspicuous green bush located next to the pool.

But somewhere among the perfectly trimmed leaves is a fearsome snake. Can you see her?

Don’t worry if not, as we’ve rounded up the answer below to put your mind at ease.

Facebook users struggled to locate the slippery snake in time, though many made reasonable guesses.

If you look closely, you will notice that the reptile runs into the water and heads towards the pool.

The creature can be seen gliding onto the deck just inches from entering the clear blue water.

One person said, “Oh, that took forever!”

Another added: “There he is…cheeky little creature.”

Experts from the Snake Catchers group suggested that the reptile, which looks like a snake, might have been by the pool for some reason.

A company spokesperson told Newsweek: “Snakes often use pools for reasons such as shedding their skin or getting rid of external parasites.

“People can also help make their pools wildlife-friendly by providing equipment to help animals get out of the pool.

“It’s not just snakes that use pools, other animals like rodents, lizards, and even large mammals like koalas can see a pool as a valuable water source.

“Pool toys can help animals get out of the pool.”
