Others have tried and many have failed, as one person wrote: “Apple I guess, but they still fooled us.”

Another shared: “I was so convinced it was the purple one.”

A third chimed in: “I saw the shadow of a purple pen,” while a fourth said, “I thought of purple because it was brighter than the others.”

“Good distraction. Well done,” said another, while a fifth added: “I’ve been fooled!”

Many thought it was a purple pen or an apple on top of the notebook, but they were all wrong.

In the clip, TikTok user @mart1979 took his red highlighter and first removed the mustard yellow at the bottom.

He then removed the blues and greens before getting rid of the yellows and pinks.

The only pen left was a purple one, but with a twist she picked it up as well, revealing the shadow she had drawn on the paper below.
