The picture was published on xformerly known as Twitter, by New Zealand nanotechnology engineer Dr. Michelle Dickinson.

She wrote: “You can only see this optical illusion if you shake your head (I’m serious).”

If you can’t see the cat, some people suggest keeping the picture away from you.

People went crazy for the optical illusion.

One wrote: “Here I am shaking my head like a crazy person at my desk.”

Another savvy puzzle solver commented: “Just shake your phone. It’s easier than your head.”

“Or cut back,” advised another.

Someone else joked: “Shaking the phone worked too, after my wife told me I looked like a jerk for shaking my head.”

If this was too easy, or too hard – no shame – why not try these other puzzles.
