The stunning image depicts a confusing outdoor scene with a dark wall and a mysterious situation unfolding in front of it.
Contrasting colors and shapes are designed to play tricks on you – but don’t let that distract you from the challenge ahead.
The image shows an orange sky and a paved path – with an elderly man and mother seemingly standing in the middle.
But as all the shapes and colors blend together, this image produces a tricky optical illusion that we challenge you to solve.
Nine faces are interspersed in different parts of the photo and you’ll need sharp vision to spot them all in time.
Like most of Octavio Ocampo’s paintings, it’s really the series of well-placed people, objects and shadows that make this painting so stunning.
Optical illusions are becoming a popular daily activity for those who want to test not only their eyesight, but also their brain power.
Don’t worry if you are struggling because we have a solution below.
If you focused your eyes on the center of the picture, you could make out four of the nine faces.
One is significantly larger than the other three.
Then if you look in the upper left corner, you will see four more faces in the empty space around the wall and in the sky.
The last face is on the far right between the arch and the statue.
But if this puzzle was too easy – or too hard – for you, then why not try these fun games?
Test your 20/20 vision by seeing if you can find the hidden disco ball in this illusion in under 10 seconds.
For more sneaky teases, see why you’re in the top 5% of the population if you can spot an owl and a frog.
Or see if you have the eyes of a hawk if you can find an acorn in the leaves.
