Mountain lions are known for their ability to blend in with nature while stalking unsuspecting prey.

And the 200-pound cat hiding in this real-life image is no exception.

The animal shocked social media users after the US Fish and Wildlife Service shared an image that went viral.

In the post, the UFWS said: “Where’s Waldo: Mountain Lion in Washoe County, Nevada Edition…can you spy on the big cat?”

The image shows rocks and wildlife, but somewhere nesting is a mountain lion.

Hundreds of people took up the challenge to spot the animal, some succeeding and others stunned.

Can you tell it apart?

If not, don’t worry, the answer is in the image below.

In the lower left part of the image, circled in red, is the place where the puma is hiding.

For most puzzle fans, it was impossible to spot the big cat.

“It’s just a photo of rocks, right?” said the Facebook user.

“What am I looking at?” said one.

“Can someone text me and tell me where this lion is? I’ve been staring at the screen for too long,” said another.

Brain teasers have been shown to sharpen people’s awareness and increase mental stimulation.

You might have the eyes of an archer if you see the bear hiding in this forest scene.
