The photo initially appears to be a rocky landscape in Cura, India, captured by keen photographer Sudhir Shivaram.

But if you look closely, you can see the cunning predator on the prowl, looking for its next meal.

Sudhir, 43, had hoped to see one of the huge leopards, as Cura is known for its wildlife.

Sudhir said: “The place is very popular with leopards due to its rocky terrain.

“The leopard came out of his den and was resting.”

A keen wildlife photographer steered clear of the killer cat.

He said: “I took the photo with the leopard slightly off center so it’s very hard to find.

“They are the most adaptable animals and easily handle smaller mammals, birds and sometimes local livestock.

As long as we don’t bother them, they won’t interfere in our lives and coexist.

Can you find it hidden in the rocky terrain?

Another photo has gone viral of a hiding snow leopard, and if you can spot one in less than five seconds, you’ve got a good eye.

The big cat has blended in perfectly with the snowy mountains – it’s harder to see than you might think.

The caption read: “Some snow leopards cover themselves in snow for almost perfect camouflage like this.”
