MOST people probably won’t navigate the top of an icy mountain, but you may want to be more careful if you do.
In addition to the risk of falling from a great height, adventurers must be wary of camouflage-savvy predators.

This impressive optical illusion is a perfect example of dangerous creatures using their environment as camouflage.
In the image, a lone snow leopard managed to hide among the icy rock formation.
But it is extremely difficult to find him among the ruins that cover the top of the mountain, because his thick, mottled fur blends perfectly with him.
Those who can spot a fearsome bobcat before it pounces are said to have excellent eyesight, can you spot it?
Wildlife photographer Saurabh Desai explained that he took the incredible photo while exploring the Himalayas in northeastern India.
He was hiking in Spiti Valley in 2019 when he captured an incredible image of a big cat that left him “speechless.”
Saurabh previously told My Modern Met: “I was on the hunt for the world’s most elusive cat, which is also known as the ‘Grey Ghost’ in popular local parlance.”
He spent three years searching before he was able to find the leopard about five miles from the high-altitude village of Kibber.
The big cat seems to have seen it too, its piercing eyes looking directly at the camera.
Desai from Gujarat said: “The picture shows a snow leopard trying to jump off a cliff.
“But noting our presence, he decided to wait until it got really dark and he stayed there on the edge.”
The image was recently shared on Twitter by a nature-focused account to encourage animal lovers to test their eyesight.
But most people admitted that they were confused by the brainstorming session.
One wrote: “That took way longer than it should have!”
Another added: “Amazing how well it blended in with the colors of the environment. I had to zoom in to find it.”
A third quipped: “It took me a while. So if I had been there, I would have been gone by now.”
And a fourth chimed in: “Once you see it, you can’t believe how visible it is!”
