Young Girl Taken by Shirtless Jason Kelce to Meet Taylor Swift Says It Was ‘Amazing’

Ella Piazza believed even in her wildest dreams that she would meet Taylor Swift.

The 8-year-old girl from Penfield, New York — who went viral after a shirtless Jason Kelce helped her wave at the superstar during Sunday’s Bills-Chiefs playoff game — said she manifested the moment a week before it happened.

“I was thinking positively, but some of my friends weren’t so positive,” Piazza said on Today show Tuesday.

But the opportunity almost didn’t happen.

Ella and her mom, Jessica Piazza, were sitting on the opposite side of Highmark Stadium from where Swift, members of the Kelce family and their friends were watching the game. But Jessica’s friend – who was sitting in the section below the suite – suggested they switch seats at halftime, the mother said Today.

With a handmade sign that read “Buffalo Bills + Taylor Swift – Best First Game Ever,” the mother and daughter switched places.

“It was halftime and a lot of people had left their seats to go to the bathroom or have a drink or whatever, so we were just trying to climb higher and higher,” Jessica recalled. “Ella was actually the one who paved the way. When people saw her sign, they all started helping her. It was really sweet.”

That’s when the shirtless Philadelphia Eagles center decided to jump into the stands and saw the third grader.

“Then [he] came here and then picked me up and that’s when I saw Taylor,” Ella said. “It was, like, amazing.”

The NFL star, 36, held it so the “Anti-Hero” singer, who was sitting in the suite, could read her sign.

Ella, who was dressed in Bills colors, waved to Swift, and then she and the Eagles star posed for a picture.

“He was so nice to her,” Jessica said of Kelce, who shares three girls with his wife, Kylie. “I was so thankful that he gave her a chance to see Taylor because she was — standing up there at the top of the bleachers with her just waiting and hoping sign and so brave — she climbed all the way to the top.”

After the experience, the longtime Bills fan described her daughter as “absolute heaven” and “the happiest I’ve ever seen her.”

“She probably doesn’t understand what a big star Jason Kelce is yet. She just couldn’t believe she saw Taylor! The rest of the game was on cloud nine.”

Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills 27-24, securing their spot in the AFC Championship Game where they will face the Baltimore Ravens for a chance to compete in Super Bowl LVIII.
