The user who originally posted the video, named Muhamad, said you’re an “artist” if you see a nighttime beach scene when you look at it.
The image appears to show waves gently lapping the shore on a rocky beach, covered by a midnight black sky.
However, the truth is much more mundane.
Muhammad revealed: “If you can see the beach, the ocean sky, the rocks and the stars then you are an artist.
“But it’s not a picture.
“It’s a car door, the weatherstripping beneath it is damaged… giving the illusion of water at the edge of the beach.”
Upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that the tidal effect is created by a portion of the neck that has broken off at the bottom.
The light-colored asphalt below could easily be mistaken for sand, while the star-studded sky is actually a black door dotted with tiny bits and scratches.
Social media viewers were left in disbelief.
One wrote: “I’ve looked at this picture every way possible, the only thing I can see is someone maybe looking out a window on the beach.”
WHEEL HARD Everyone sees a couple packing their car in 2 pictures, but you have a high IQ if you can spot 10 differences in 15 seconds
Another added: “I can’t see reality. It’s like those hologram pictures from the 90s.”
However, some claimed to have spotted the truth in “minutes”.
It comes after puzzle fans were put to the test with a series of brain teasers based on cars.
For example, a stunning animation of a vehicle traveling down a busy road – but can you tell which direction it’s going?
And only those with 20/20 vision could spot the toy car hidden in the brightly colored bathroom.
Meanwhile, we gave fans a look at the “best road in the world”, which is loved by Jeremy Clarkson but has only been open for half a year.
