A video of a camouflaged dog, which was shared on TikTok, has gone viral for its optical illusion.

In the clip, we can see an empty front room with a tidy front room filled with tables, chairs, and a selection of decorations.

But as the video zooms in, our eyes are drawn to a jet-black chimney where something furry appears to be lurking.

Users were apparently stunned by the revelation and soon took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Oh, I didn’t even notice at first,” said one.

As another wrote: “Stop it, I thought there was something under the hedgehog blanket.”

While a third added: “I swear black animals like to hide in black things.”

It comes after a TikToker found a creative way to disguise his cat when it was time for an inspection.

TikTok user Gosia, who manages the 5crazycats account, shared a video of her stuffed animals lined up on her bed, but there was a real animal in the mix.

Gosia captioned her video, “When the landlord comes to inspect and doesn’t allow pets.”

“Can you see Larry?” the TikToker asked her followers, as she panned the wall of stuffed toys with the camera.

Amongst the stuffed animals were some toy cats, but hardly a real cat was to be seen in the pile.
