Redditor Scottkollig posted a picture of the crafty creature on the social media platform.
He called it “nature’s deadliest predator.”
A world traveler said he spotted the animal while visiting an ancient site in Thailand.
The stairs leading up to the old building showed no signs of life until closer inspection.

The ancient ruins suffered some damage due to the weather.
A few scattered holes can be seen throughout the structure, especially around the stairs.
In a black hole there is this unusual creature.
A closer look reveals a pair of eyes staring back – a black cat hanging out at a Thai heritage site.
“If eyes could kill,” wrote one Redditor.
If you still have trouble locating the cat, pay attention to the black dot towards the center of the image.

The cat’s eyes are visible in the darkness of the hole in the landmark.

Outdoor Redditor Spotanuga posted a picture of a waterside adventure.
At first glance, their surroundings appear generally safe, with no sign of animals in sight.

“I don’t see anything,” one Redditor wrote.
“I can never see them,” added another. “This subreddit lets me know that I’m not meant to be in the wild.”

Several Redditors chimed in about the wildlife discovery.
“Of course the one snake I find is one that wouldn’t kill me anyway,” joked one Redditor.
Fortunately, the water snake is not poisonous, but still a shocking sight.
If you’re still having trouble spotting the snake, look to the right and to the center of the image.
