The intricate image, created by BBC Earth, asks eager viewers to spot a badger among the zebras.
At first, the identity of the hidden animal was not revealed as users searched for clues.
One user commented on the BBC post, saying: “I’ve been watching for so long I’m starting to forget what a badger is supposed to look like.”
Another claimed his “eyes hurt” while looking for the badger before claiming his girlfriend picked up the phone and “saw the badger within seconds.”
While a third even suggested it was all a ruse, commenting: “Maybe it’s driving people crazy because there are no badgers? Ever thought of that?”
TikTok users were similarly confused after sharing it on the platform, with many concluding that the cheeky badger was hidden in the “center left” of the image.
It comes after viewers were challenged to spot the fish in a tricky brain teaser in eight seconds.
The little animal is hidden in a spring painting made up of fields and daffodils.
The illusion produced by Field Good Contacts is extremely difficult to solve because the chick is disguised among the petals.
According to Heart, it typically takes viewers about 43 seconds to find the animal, but those who are super fast can spot it in just eight seconds.
Another fiendishly difficult riddle shows a fish hidden between polar bears and snowflakes in a wintry image.
The design looks adorable as the bears are wearing sweaters and hats, but viewers should not be fooled as the puzzle is very difficult to solve.
Spectators who find the fish in 15 seconds could be called record holders.
If you find it difficult, you should look towards the lower left corner of the image.
You may be able to see a fish tail sticking out of a fairly large snowflake.
The fish is near the bear wearing the yellow sweater.
