Zac Fulton is an Australian rugby union player. He has parents whose heritage is rooted in rugby, and he continues his family’s sporting pedigree. For starters, Zac Fulton’s father, Scott Fulton, is a former rugby league player for the Manly Sea Eagles. Zac Fulton, born 14 August 2001, is an Australian rugby union player who specializes as a second row forward. He currently plays for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the National Rugby League. He made his first grade debut for Manly against the Sydney Roosters in 2022. He also plays for NSW Cup side, the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.
Zac Fulton’s parents
Zac attributes much of his success to his parents, who played an important role in shaping him into an excellent athlete. Therefore, their sacrifices paid off. Scott’s rugby league career began with a memorable debut at the age of 20. He made his debut as a hooker for the Manly Sea Eagles in round one of the 1993 NSWRL season. He made a major contribution to the NSWRL over seven seasons and 49 games before retiring in Round 7 in 1999 against Balmain. After his stay in France, he returned to Australia. He won the regional championship in Dubbo and then represented his hometown club, Coonamble Bears, in the Castlereagh Cup. The identity of Zac’s mother remains unknown. Generations of sports heritage
Namely, Zac is a third generation rugby player. His late grandfather, Bob Fulton, was a legendary Australian rugby league player. Bob played an impressive 219 games for Manly from 1966 to 1976. He won premierships with Manly in 1972, 1973 and 1976. Furthermore, he is considered one of the best Australian rugby league players of the twentieth century.
Bob (73) died of cancer in May 2021. He was buried at St Mary’s Cathedral in Sydney, surrounded by prominent Australian sporting and media leaders. As a result, Zac is part of a select group of football families who have demonstrated their abilities at the highest level over many generations. Zac is proud of his family’s sporting heritage and wants to gracefully carry on the tradition of his grandfather and father.
“The older guy would be pretty proud. He has always been quite interested in all his grandchildren and how they are growing up in life. Playing in the first division is always an honour, but to do it for one club is incredible. “He would be beside himself.”
