Zachary Levi was born on September 29, 1980 in Lake Charles, Louisiana, United States. He is now 43 years old. His parents are Susan Marie and Darrell Pugh. His ancestry is Welsh. Levi has two siblings: older sister Sarah and younger sister Shekinah. When he was a child, his family moved to several states before returning to their home in Ventura, California.

Zachary started his acting career as Adam in the 2002 ‘FX’ TV series ‘Big Shot: Confessions of a Campus Bookie’. He then played Grant Asher in the TV series ‘See Jane Date.’ He was also cast in the ABC sitcom Less Than Perfect that year, playing the role of Kipp Steadman. Levi appeared in 81 episodes of the series, which aired from 2002 to 2006. In 2004, he was offered the lead role in the TV series ‘Three’, but this series did not air.
He then starred in Chuck in 2007. He and co-star Yvonne Strahovski were nominated for the 2010 Teen Choice Awards for Best Action Actor and Actress in a Drama Series. Both received an award. In the summer of 2008, he was also named one of Entertainment Weekly’s 30 Best Under 30s. By the end of 2007, Levi had made a name for himself in the industry. Levi sings with McPhee in the music video and duet with her on the song (re-recorded; original album version featuring Jason Reeves). On May 7, 2010, the full video debuted on the music video website Vevo. Levi sponsored Kendall Payne’s album Grown after she was dropped by Capitol Records.
