Zayn Malik pays touching tribute to Liam Payne.
Malik, 31, dedicated his song “It’s You” to Payne while performing his Stairway to the Sky tour in the late singer’s hometown of Wolverhampton, England on Friday, November 29. He also publicly shared a few words about his late former bandmate, who first passed away on October 16.
In a video posted by a fan on X (formerly Twitter), Malik told fans, “Every night I do something at the end of the show and it’s dedicated to my brother Liam Payne,” as the crowd responded with loud cheers.
Malik continued Payne: “Rest in peace. I hope you see this. Tonight we are in your hometown, Wolverhampton. This is for you Liam. Here’s another song, ‘To si ti’. ”
Payne died at the age of 31 after falling several stories from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 16.

Zayn Malik attended Liam Payne’s funeral alongside One Direction after changing tour dates
Malik’s latest tribute to Payne comes after he paid tribute to the late singer at the first show of his Stairway to the Sky tour at the O2 Academy in Leeds, England on November 23. This was also Malik’s first performance since Payne’s death.
Near the end of the show, a message about Payne appeared on the big screen while Malik’s song “Stardust” played.
In a fan-shot of the touching moment posted on X, the message read: “Liam Payne 1993-2024 I love you bro” as it was displayed on a blue background with a red heart.

Malik had attended Payne’s funeral three days earlier on November 20. He was joined there by his former One Direction bandmates Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan — the first time they’ve been seen in public since Malik left the group in 2015.

On October 19, Malik announced that he was postponing his US tour dates following Payne’s untimely death.
The “Dusk ‘Till Dawn” singer then wrote on his Instagram Stories that “in light of the heartbreaking loss he experienced this week,” he will be moving the dates. “I love you all and thank you for your understanding,” he added.
Malik is now scheduled to perform the first show of his US tour in Washington on January 21, 2025, followed by two shows in New York at the Hammerstein Ballroom. He will then perform in Los Angeles and Las Vegas before wrapping up his run in San Francisco on February 3, 2025.
