Zoya Nasir was born on Monday, October 15, 1990 (30 years old in 2020) and is from Lahore, Pakistan. She went to Resource College and Garrison College for Girls in Lahore. Zoya Nasir entered the entertainment industry at a very young age. In an interview, she said,
My father, Nasir Adeeb, was in the film industry, so I basically grew up on film sets.”
She graduated from Lahore College of Arts and Sciences (LACAS) in Pakistan. Later, she also pursued a cosmetology course.

Zoya got married at a young age and moved to the UK to live with her husband. At the age of 21, she divorced her husband and returned to Pakistan. Later, she dated Christian Betzmann, a German travel vlogger.

In May 2021, she severed ties with Batesman after he made comments criticizing Pakistan’s stance on Israel and Palestine. In a post, Batesman wrote:

Prior to her acting career, Zoya worked as a creative director at Sabs Salon in Lahore, Pakistan. Later, she returned to the UK and worked as a product developer for a cosmetics company. After that, she moved to the United States where she pursued a degree in cosmetology. She owns three salons in Miami, Boston, and New York. After obtaining her degree in cosmetology, she moved from the United States to Pakistan.
As an actress
In 2019, Zoya Nasir made her television screen debut in the Pakistani soap opera Hania, where she essayed the role of a compromised wife who tolerates domestic violence and becomes a victim of those around her.

In 2019, she played the role of Narmeen Durrani in the Pakistani romantic TV series Deewangi. In 2020, she starred in the Pakistani TV series Zebaish, in which she played the role of Natasha.

Zoya’s boyfriend Christian Betzmann allegedly uploaded a photo of Zoya Nasir in a tight Halloween costume on his Instagram account on November 1, 2020. Since then, the Pakistani actress has become the target of hate speech in the comment section of the Instagram post for wearing an indecent costume and embracing Western cultural norms.

- Since childhood, Zoya wanted to be an actress, but she started her career as a beautician because in the 90s, acting was not considered a respectable profession for women in Pakistan. In an interview, she said,
Around the 90s, acting wasn’t even considered because it was looked down upon at the time. So I chose to be a beautician and incorporate my love of acting, poetry and music into painting. Although this love was suppressed, I always knew I wanted to be an artist.”
