One of the greatest supervillains to ever exist in the DC Universe is Eobard Thawne, aka The Reverse Flash, Flash’s greatest enemy. Superman has Lex Luthor, Batman has the Joker, and Barry Allen’s most iconic nemesis is the evil speed racer that has been around for decades in mythology. While there have been many Speedsters in the comics, none played as important a role in Barry’s life as Iobard. This is reflected in speed The TV show where Eobard went from the main villain to a prominent character.
Reverse-Flash was even supposed to play a major role in the latest season, but due to the ongoing pandemic, those episodes were never filmed. But as fierce and powerful as he is, Reverse-Flash hasn’t stopped his fans from admiring him. Like any fictional character, Eobard is not immune to being ridiculed by fans through various existing memes and fan art.
hungry drive is crazy drive
Eobard’s hatred of Barry has become a consistent theme in any Flash/Reverse-Flash storyline, whether in the comics or in the Arrowverse. But that’s what makes their motivation so powerful, because of how complicated their fight is and how it begins.
However, what if Eobard’s bad mood could be traced back to a problem? Considering that Speedsters burn energy quickly, maybe all Reverse-Flash really needs is a big buffet of Big Belly Burgers.
If Eobard Thawne had his own introduction
Anyone who has watched most of the shows in the Arrowverse is familiar with how some of them insist on the “my name is…” monologue over and over again throughout the first season of the series. While it’s unlikely loyal fans will ever forget what they’re watching, that hasn’t stopped Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl from doing so in consecutive seasons.
If someone went crazy and gave Eobard his own monologue, it would probably be like this meme. If it’s anything like this meme, it might be the most ridiculous thing ever.
Why Barry should never have been Eobard
The reason Barry is better than Reverse-Flash is because he doesn’t use his super speed for nefarious actions like instant murder. For all the time travel chaos Barry has caused, one can only wonder how bad Eobard’s list must have been. However, if Barry ever tried to make a literal Reverse-Flash, we hope it never ends like this meme or Cisco is doomed.
Thorne’s army
Even when wiped out, Reverse-Flash always returns to the Arrowverse. the legend of tomorrow Season 2 is one of the instances where he came back to life and founded the Legion of Doom. At the end of that season, Eobard won in almost the craziest way.
Why own a Reverse-Flash when you can have an entire Reverse-Flash? Because that is exactly what Eobard has successfully achieved.
reverse flash is a nasty troll
One of the best depictions of Reverse-Flash outside of The CW is Justice League: Flashpoint Paradox. Although it may have Justice League in its name, this is definitely a speed Movie, no doubt about it. The cartoon image of Eobard Thawne is one of the highlights of the film. But nothing compares to the moment he essentially turned into an internet troll who happened to be observing Barry’s mess. Despite his mess, the crazy truth remains intact: Barry single-handedly screwed everything up.
Score on Reverse-Flash
Blake Neely has been the Arrowverse’s lead composer since the franchise began in 2012. With several spin-offs coming out over the past few years, Neely is one of the busiest composers of all time in the country. Hollywood.
However, when it comes to Reverse-Flash’s score, there’s still a big mystery. While it is certainly scary, why does it sound like a rather intense helicopter? Either way, Neely managed to make the helicopter sound a little scary.
fact and fiction
Despite their on-screen rivalry, Grant Gustin and Tom Kavanagh’s real-life relationship is the complete opposite. The two actors have worked together for almost 7 years and have shown their friendship very clearly through interviews and social media. They have even been involved in projects outside of the CW drama. That’s why it’s always a little funny to see how similar they are to their onscreen characters when everyone knows they’re best friends in real life.
when the flash becomes too comfortable
speed Season 1 was held in part because of the way they made Reverse-Flash go bad. However, after Eobard ceased to exist, the DC series decided to continue using the villain Speedster. While Zoom and Savitar have had their ups and downs, they are nothing compared to Reverse-Flash. But the biggest problem is that writers start repeating themselves, because Zoom has almost the same setup as Eobard. Thankfully, the show hasn’t had the Speedster villain as their arch-nemesis since season three.
How Eobard saved the cross
Earth-X Crossover Crisis is one of the darkest episodes ever of the series, as it features Nazi versions of several beloved heroes. While it’s odd that Eobard even went to Earth-X to team up with the Nazis, Reverse-Flash went back to this crossover.
However, one controversial moment that is still talked about to this day was the double wedding, when Oliver and Felicity decided to sabotage Iris and Barry’s second attempt at marriage. Maybe Eobard should focus on stopping this instead of doing anything to the Nazis.
taste your own medicine
Anyone who loves Cisco Ramon knows how painful it feels when Eobard kills him with his speed in Season 1 Episode 15. Thankfully, Barry’s accidental time travel managed to undo it. that scene, but it’s still a horrifying picture.
But perhaps Cisco was the last to laugh, as Iobard faced a similar fate during the campaign the legend of tomorrow. If only Cisco was there when Black Flash finally got Eobard, it would have been a hugely significant moment.
