12 Years After Disney Bought Lucasfilm, Star Wars’ New TV Show Finally Shows What It Really Means To Be A Jedi

For the kids of Skull Crew, Jedi are the ones who save lives

In this episode, the kids try to find their way back to Lapuna’s ship. It turns out that Lapna isn’t all about relaxing spas, and they soon find themselves stranded in a cold, frozen wasteland. After several disagreements, the group eventually separated, with Wim and KB heading further into the wasteland while Neil and Vern crawled towards the ship. After the team was separated, KB’s augmentations began to corrode and fail, making it nearly impossible for her to move her muscles and stay active.

For these children, especially Vim, saving lives is the most fundamental rule of the Jedi Order. Jedi are protectors, so saving people should be their biggest goal.

Thankfully, Wim was on hand to help and they worked together to try to solve the problem as best they could. After creating a new microfuse, KB’s enhancer started working again and she thanked him in a way that meant the most to Wim, calling him a Jedi Knight. Why shouldn’t she? For these kids, especially Vim, saving lives is the most fundamental rule of the Jedi Order. Jedi are protectors, so saving people should be their biggest goal. That’s exactly what Wim did for KB, even without the lightsaber.

This is what it really means to be a Jedi Knight

In the simplest terms, this is what it truly means to be a Jedi. Yes, Jedi wear lightsabers, they fight, they deal with Sith threats, they fight in the Clone Wars, pilot starships, and use the Force, but most importantly, Jedi are there to protect those who cannot be protected Your own people, no matter what the situation is. They might be forced to protect someone with their lightsaber, but they might also just need to lend a helping hand and give someone another chance at life and adventure.

Being involved in the Clone Wars and fearing the darkness of the Sith led the Jedi astray. They forget their main mission, which is what it really means to be a Jedi, which is to be one who comes to aid at all costs. This is the lesson Wim should learn from his KB experience Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Likewise – lightsabers may be cool, but helping others is even cooler.
