Three people were killed and one was injured Tuesday in an explosion at an auto body shop in Ohio.
Authorities said the explosion happened at Jimbo’s Auto Shop in Hillsboro around 4 p.m. local time, according to NBC affiliate WLWT and CBS affiliate WKRC-TV. A fire broke out immediately after that.
Paint Creek Joint EMS and Fire Chief David Manning said three people died as a result of the explosion, according to WLWT and USA Today. Their identity has not been made public.
The individual injured in the explosion was hospitalized on Tuesday evening in a stable condition, he added.
Officials did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Tuesday’s explosion could reportedly be felt several blocks away. The local fire chief said the explosion was even felt at the fire station, which is about five blocks away from the body shop, according to USA Today.
Clint Moore said he nearly fell off the loader when an explosion rang out nearby, ABC affiliate WCPO-TV reported.
“Everybody was running around the building, cars were on fire, it was pandemonium,” Moore told the outlet. “It was a real war zone. It was unreal.”

Crews worked for hours at the scene of the accident, which, according to them, was cleared only after midnight USA Today.

Eight different fire departments responded to the scene to help extinguish and contain the fire that followed the explosion, according to WLWT.
“It’s really amazing the community support that comes out,” said Manning, per USA Today.
In a Facebook post, officials thanked everyone who came to help after the explosion, including various agencies, community members and local businesses. “Your kindness and generosity is greatly appreciated,” they added.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, it is learned.
