6-Year-Old Student Praying for Her Teacher to Find Perfect Match: ‘I Wanted to Pray for Her’

A six-year-old schoolgirl hopes to help her teacher find the perfect match.

On Tuesday, student Emora and her teacher Angelique Williams joined Show Jennifer Hudson discover how Emora helps Williams find love. Emora went viral in October for a video of her praying for Williams to find a husband.

“This kid won’t leave me alone!!! Every time he sees me he asks…Dean Williams did your husband find you🤣,” Williams wrote on an Instagram video of Emore praying for her. “This has been going on since last school year😩 I tell her ‘No’ every time and she did it today👀 … With the girls pumping her up at the end.”

Williams said on the show that the conversation started last school year, when she and Emora were sitting together after class. Emora turned to her and asked if she had a husband, Williams recalled.

I said, ‘No,'” Williams told Jennifer Hudson. “‘Why would you ask me that?’ She said: ‘Because you are beautiful’. And I said, ‘Just because you’re a pretty baby doesn’t mean you’re going to have a husband.'”

The bride’s decision to ask her mother to walk her down the aisle instead of her stepfather has gone viral

When Williams first saw Emora this school year, the first thing Emora asked was if she had found a husband yet instead of welcoming her back, Williams said. Since then, Emora keeps asking her the same question.

“When she told me when she was alone, I wanted to pray for her,” Emora told Hudson, 42.

Williams explained that she and Emora share a special bond. On the show, they demonstrated the handshake the two created together. They also discussed what qualities Williams needs in a partner.

“She needs a man to cook for her,” Emora said. She also got the crowd laughing when she stood up and told the audience, “If you have a husband who plays video games all day, you better break up with him!”
