Seven people were injured after a passenger plane lit a runway in South Korea, which encouraged mass evacuation.
Air Busan aircraft caught fire at the Gimhae International Airport on Tuesday, January 28, and all 169 passengers and seven crew members were evacuated, according to CNN, quoting the Busan Fire Department.
The plane was preparing to go to Hong Kong at the time of the incident, Airbus Plannecker told People in a statement.
According to the local news agency, Yonhap, the number of injured in the incident was initially reported as three, but this increased to seven on Wednesday, fire authorities said. All victims suffered minor injuries, the news agency reported.
The fire began in the tail of the aircraft just before 10:30 pm, a local time, according to the news agency, before it appeared that it spread to the hull of the plane.

In a video of an incident that shared a newspaper in the UK GuardPassengers can be seen using a diamond for inflatable evacuation to get out of the plane and run from the aircraft, while later the footage showed flames breaking out of the plane and fire teams that worked to abolish flames.
A photo that Yonhap shared later showed large burned holes along the roof of the aircraft.
According to Airbus, the plane was manufactured in November 2007, and Air Busan has been operating since June 2017.

Air Buzan did not immediately respond to the request of people to comment.
In a statement received by the people, Airbus said: “In accordance with Annex 13 Convention on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Airbus will provide full assistance to Bureu d’Anques et d’At d’Ards of France (Bea) and South Korea’s authorities ( Araib) in charge of the investigation.
“Further updates will be provided as soon as consolidated information is available and Airbus is authorized to let them go,” they added.
