The fifth season of Virgin River arrived earlier this month and we’re already in need of more episodes. Luckily, instead of waiting another two years for more of our favorite small-towners, the Netflix drama is releasing two very special episodes at the end of November to mark the holiday season.
After the dramatic final episode of season five – and you can read our explanation here – we have a lot of questions to answer.

Here are seven questions we need answered in part two of Virgin River…
Will Mel have another child?
Fans were devastated when Mel lost her child in the middle of season five. Jack initially wanted to try again, but Mel was – understandably – reluctant to go through the trauma again. However, at the end of season five, the on-screen couple, played by Alexandra Breckenridge and Martin Henderson, decided they were going to buy land and build their own house and “fill it with kids”.
Because of this, we think they’ll be looking to start a family one way or another, but it’s likely that it won’t happen until season six.

Who is Mel’s dad?
In the last episode of the fifth season, Mel learned from her sister that their mother may have had an affair with a man who lived in Virgin River. This sets Mel on a mission to discover her real father – but who will it be?
In the trailer for Part 2, Mel even says, “I think we found my dad.” We hope they won’t leave us stranded.

Are Brie and Brady back together?
The trailer certainly made us think that this could be a possibility! They were spotted gazing adoringly at each other while under the mistletoe. Although Brie enjoyed a brief romance with Mike, we can’t help but think she’ll follow her heart and stay with Brady. We can’t wait to find out.

Are Cameron and Muriel the real thing?
After getting Doc’s blessing, Muriel and Cameron went on their first official date at a fun fair in the last episode. But will it go the distance? Or will work come between them? They seem pretty stoked, so we can see good things in their future.

What will happen to Lizzie and Denny?
Lizzie told Denny that she was pregnant, and in the trailer for the second part, she expresses her concern about whether Hope will be a good mom. But some think that Lizzie and Denny’s parenting journey may not go according to plan.

We know the couple had plans to travel and Denny even wanted to go back to college to finish his degree. As one fan wrote on X: “I bet Mel and Jack will adopt Lizzie and Denny’s child.” We were intrigued by that theory!
What will happen to Preacher?
Preacher looked seriously worried when his new girlfriend, Kaia, received a phone call from her boss telling her that authorities had found a body in the woods—which happened to be near where he and Paige buried the body of Paige’s abusive husband, Wes, after he fell is down the stairs.

If the body turns out to be Wes, Preacher could be in big trouble. And with Paige now out of the game after deciding to leave Virgin River – will she take the fall?
Will Doc cure his sight?
The doc told Hope that he was continuing with clinical trials to try to cure his vision. But will it work? We know that the risks and possible side effects can lead to total vision loss, which is why we are seriously concerned about our favorite medic. But will the clinical trials succeed? We can only hope!
