A snake on a plane
A green snake was found hanging in the hold of a flight to Mexico. Fortunately, the snake did not bite anyone. After this emergency, the plane was quickly landed in Mexico City. How the snake got there is still a mystery to airline staff.
The pilot was attacked by a cat
Another strange incident occurred on a Sudanese flight that had to make an emergency landing at Khartoum International Airport after a cat attacked the pilot in the cockpit. It happened shortly after takeoff, but no one could figure out how the cat got inside. After landing, all passengers were safely evacuated.
A drunken man bit the flight attendant’s finger

An unknown odor causing seriousness
An “unknown odor” from the cockpit of a JetBlue flight from California to Florida caused passengers to choke and cough. The plane had to make an emergency landing in Oklahoma City. Three crew members and two passengers were taken to hospital, while a number of other people needed oxygen. The cause of the unpleasant smell has not been discovered.
Diaper for adults
On a flight from Panama City to Tampa in October 2023, Copa Airlines received a report of a suspicious object in the lavatory. Authorities searched the area for explosives as the plane landed back in Panama. However, upon careful inspection, it was determined that the “suspicious” item was actually an adult diaper that had been tightly wrapped, making identification impossible.
