AAFCA

AAFCA, short for African American Film Critics Association, is a large group of black film critics. In 2003, they started awarding awards for major films and TV shows. Their main goal is to ensure that black voices are heard in film criticism and journalism.

AAFCA reviews movies and series, especially those about the African-American experience. They are also working to ensure more diversity in entertainment journalism. That means they want to see more different kinds of people talking about movies and television.

The AAFCA gives awards for many different things in film and television, such as Best Picture and Best Actor. They also do other things like discussions and programs to help young people who want to write about movies and television.
