SHE is the singer behind one of the most famous pop anthems of the 80s.

Now, more than 30 years later, the 62-year-old star behind smash dance pop hit Tell It to My Heart is still working the showbiz circuit – and hasn’t aged a day.

Like her pop namesake Taylor Swift, chart-topper Taylor Dayne was a trendsetter of her time, with millions rushing to emulate her signature look of red lips and tousled hair.

Earlier this year, she embarked on a US tour and shared her eternal beauty secrets in an interview with The Sun.

In addition to vitamin C, sunscreen and the use of intense pulsed rays on the face, she praised Bobbi Brown moisturizing cream and lip gloss.

The singer also shared the secrets behind her slim figure, saying: “I exercise, I’m very active with my diet. It means what I put in is what I put out.

“I do Pilates two to three times a week. You’ll also see me hiking.”

“As we get older, we need to stretch. I also do breathing and meditation.

“I believe it’s the quality of my life now. I’ll hike up the hills, down the hills.”

Born in New York, Taylor began singing with indie pop bands and released two dance singles Tell Me Can You Love Me and I Am The One You Want released in 1985 and 1986.

Then came the hit that changed everything, Tell It to My Heart was released in 1987 after Dane’s father loaned her $6,000 to make a demo.

The song was an immediate worldwide success, reaching the Top 5 in most major global markets and reaching number 1 in many countries; The 12-inch record of the song ended up selling 900,000 copies.

In 1988, Dayne was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her performance of the hit.

In her 40-year career, Dayne has had seven US Top 10 singles including: Tell it my heart, Prove Your Love, I’ll Always Love You, Don’t Rush Me, With Every Beat of My Heart, Love Will Lead you Back and I will be Your refuge.”

She achieved three gold singles in the US and has sold more than 75 million albums and singles worldwide.

A multi-award winner, Dayne has received three Grammy nominations, an American Music Award and multiple New York Music Awards.

Rolling Stone and Billboard named her the most successful dance artist of all time.

Although she has never married, she has twins, Astaria and Levi, born via surrogate in 2003.
