In April 2023, Mumbai police arrested Suman from a hotel in Goregaon, Mumbai. She was detained for running a prostitution racket in Mumbai. She used to work as a middleman providing girls to customers. According to sources, police social services raided the hotel and busted the prostitution ring. Earlier, police received information about illegal activities taking place at Royal Palm Hotel in Gorgaon. As part of the plan, police sent an undercover officer to the hotel as a customer. Suman made an agreement with the fake customer and told him that the fee for a model ranged from Rs 50,000 to Rs 80,000. Later, while addressing the media, the local police revealed that Suman had targeted girls who came to Mumbai looking for girls. work. She used to force girls into prostitution, sometimes taking advantage of their poor financial circumstances. After arresting her, the Mumbai Police crime branch rescued three women from the hotel. An FIR was filed against Suman under the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
