’90 Day’: A ‘Last Resort’ Woman Is Compared to a ‘Holy Reign of Terror’ as Angela Weaponizes Divorce Papers

Last call was on Monday 90 day: last refuge.

While going through therapy on the beach, some of the couples improved, while others drifted further apart than ever. This week’s episode featured couples having a happy hour by the pool that turned decidedly unhappy when one couple’s worst fears turned into a relationship-ending fight.

Meanwhile, it seemed that a broken marriage could be saved thanks to a hilarious striptease. Read on to find out where the dysfunctional duo left off after the latest installment.

Last week, Molly Hopkins admitted she was no longer “in love” with Kelly Brown – and she assumed he felt the same way. The rift in their relationship grew wider as Kelly and Molly refused to talk or make up until they were by the pool with the other couples.

He stated the evening with the assumption that everyone was on Team Kelly. “I feel like a fool,” he said, as he claimed Molly told him she didn’t love him (Molly claimed she loved Kelly but was no longer “in love” with him.) Things changed later in the evening when Molly described what made them wander.

“The Kelly I met is not the Kelly I got when he moved to Georgia,” she told the women. Molly went into detail about her recent hysterectomy and her disappointment that Kelly didn’t take care of her, didn’t get flowers or a card. She said her boyfriend made her experience of recovery feel like just another day and claimed Kelly has not contributed financially to her or her children since he moved in with them.

“I don’t appreciate Kelly trying to portray me as a horrible person or a holy reign of terror,” she said in the interview. “Choose, brother. You act like you didn’t do anything when you know full well what you did.”

The episode ended with no hint of reconciliation as both Molly and Kelly questioned whether their relationship was worth repairing.

A therapy session with Angela Dee and Michael Ilesanmi led to major changes in their marriage. It started when Angela had a private meeting with their therapist to discuss the divorce papers in her bag. The therapist asked if she was willing to “put those divorce papers aside so you can give yourself the best chance to withdraw without that threat hanging over him.”

Angela wasn’t quite ready, admitting, “Honestly, I have to think about it…I’m done now.” However, Michael had no idea that she had compiled the documents in the first place.

After Michael virtually jumped into the session, the long-distance lovers tackled their main source of tension: Michael’s cheating. “I know I did her wrong, I did her wrong, but still she still does [finds] a place in his heart to forgive me and to continue to be with me,” he said. “Honey, I love you so much, you know that. And I’m sorry for everything.”

For Angela, it was the most honest her husband had ever been. He admitted that his mother died shortly after Angela found out about his infidelity. Angela put her anger aside and traveled to Nigeria to comfort him. This returned Michael’s love and fueled his desire to do good to her.

“Last year I felt like he was taking advantage of me, really, because I never thought he would do what he did,” Angela cried. “I just thought he was an opportunist. Now I believe him, I just needed to hear it from his heart.”

They ended the session with a promise: “No more secrets.”

Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa are parents together, but that’s about it. Although they did their best in therapy, Kalana found it difficult to overcome Asuel’s cheating past — and she was preoccupied with her sexual relationship with her “passing person,” who she called a better lover than her husband had ever been.

But the couple had smiles on their faces – perhaps for the first time – as they drank with them by the pool 90 days friends. Asuelu took the opportunity to give his wife a lap dance and even stripped naked from the waist down in front of all his TLC co-stars, with only a towel covering his manhood.

Kalani laughed and blushed as the rest of the crowd cheered. The big, um, highlight of Asuelo’s performance came when he almost set fire to his towel while standing on the fire.

Although Kalani and Asuelo were still working to find their way back to physical intimacy, their colleagues thought that night might rekindle the passion between them.
