Big Ed Brown has a lot going on amid his broken engagement to Porsche Raymond.
The Fiancé of 90 days star, 59, was spotted eating at New York hot spot Robkes on Sunday, September 22 — hours before announcing that he and Porscha, 29, had ended things.
Owner Louie Sel tells PEOPLE that the TLC star “took pictures with everyone” and wanted a T-shirt to “promote the restaurant.”
“He loves food. He had girls taking pictures with him all night. It was quite the scene,” says Sel.
Big Ed and Porscha got engaged within 24 hours of meeting in Plantation, Florida for a fan meet-and-greet, PEOPLE confirmed Tuesday, Sept. 17. News of their split came via a statement posted on Big Ed’s Instagram stories on Monday, September 23.

Big Ed also addressed the split in a separate video, telling his fans that “love is a crazy thing.”

“I did something that was impulsive, I asked that girl to marry me and after thinking about it… It’s too soon and it’s not what I want, obviously,” he said. “After talking with my family, I realized that I don’t want to get married. I want to be single. Therefore, I wish her, Porscha, all the best in life,” he said.
While discussing their engagement in a previous interview with Page Six, Big Ed said the two immediately “hit it off” when they first met, leading to them planning dinner the next night at Fort Lauderdale’s YOLO restaurant , Florida.
