Sheila and David prepare for life together – but not without her son Jhonreil.
In an exclusive PEOPLE sneak peek 90 Day Fiancé: 90 days agothe happy couple travels back to Sheila’s village in Cebu, Philippines to share the news of their engagement with her family.
During the drive, Sheila confesses that she is worried about Johnreil’s reluctance to move to America.
“My heart will break,” she admits. “I love David, but I could never leave my son.”

The duo sit down with Jhonreil and Sheila’s father to announce their engagement. As her father expresses his happiness at hearing of their engagement, Sheila asks her son how he feels about the news.
“Happy,” he replies as her father asks if the couple will take the 12-year-old with them when they move abroad.
When Sheila asks him if he wants to follow them to America, Jhonreil hesitates before agreeing. “I’ll go with you,” he says.
The native of Cebu has a big smile on his face as he explains the news to David, who also expresses his excitement.

“I’m excited,” Jhonreil continues. “I think houses in America are very big.”
Speaking to the cameras, Jhonreil admits that he was a little hesitant to warm to David, but eventually came around to him when he saw how much he cared for his mother.
“I was nervous when I first met David,” explains Jhonreil. “Now I know that he loved my mother and that he is a happy person even though he is mute. I think I’ll like it over there in America. I could make many friends there. The food is very tasty.”

Day 90: David offers to pay for home repairs for ‘disgraced’ grieving Sheila after her mother’s fatal fall
In previous episodes 90 Day Fiancé: 90 days ago, David opened up about his anxieties about proposing to Sheila. Although he wanted to be with her “forever”, he admitted that the timing of his proposal was not good due to the sudden death of Sheila’s mother and her son’s resistance to moving abroad.
“Maybe now is not the right time to propose because her mother just passed away and Jhonreil doesn’t want to move to America. But if I postpone it, I don’t know when I will get another chance,” he revealed in the confessional.
Although David and Jhonreil’s relationship started out a bit rocky due to his deafness and language barrier, he ended up winning his heart with fun games and water fights on the beach.

“I was worried about forming a relationship with Jhonreil because [he] is very shy,” explained David. “But when I think about it, kids, they just love to play, so the language barrier isn’t a big deal. That’s how I communicated with my father all those years ago.”
He added: “He’s warmed up to me and it feels really good.”
Jhonreil also shared the same feelings while talking to the cameras: “When I first met David I was nervous, but I don’t feel that anymore. I would like to learn sign language so we can talk a little.”
