90 Day: The Last Resort Guys Go Wild at a Strip Club While Kalani Calls Marriage to Asuelu 'Torturing'

Yara and Jovi woke up to a clash in Monday’s episode after she questioned why her husband was “f*cking obsessed with a stupid strip club” when he had a “beautiful wife”.

The end is coming 90 day: last refuge.

After a striptease escapade and a few too many drinks on Monday night’s episode, one couple appears to be headed for divorce while the other is bursting at the seams. This week’s installment picked up after Kalani Faagat’s night with another man outside the resort grounds. Asuelu Pulaa still didn’t know the truth, and Kalani had reason to think that their relationship was over for good.

But Kalani and Asuelu weren’t the only ones involved in the drama: Jovi Dufren’s pursuit of a strip club nearly broke up Ed “Big Ed” Brown and Elizabeth “Liz” Woods’ relationship after Ed vowed not to touch strippers. And Michael Ilesanmi managed to get into a fight with Angela Dee at the club — despite only being there via FaceTime. Elsewhere, Yara Zaya questioned Jovi’s interest in seeing scantily clad ladies dance.

Here’s how things went.

Kalani questions his marriage to Asuela

Kaliani was finally honest with herself — and the other women — on Monday’s episode. She spent another night with the man she had previously cheated with, and it seemed to put her marriage in context. “I think therapy made me realize that I was putting everyone else before myself,” she said. “I always want to help everyone and do everything for them, and I have to do it for myself.”

Getting even more candid in the confessional, sharing, “I tried my best to focus on my marriage, but sleeping with Dallas opened my eyes to a different world. There is an effort there that was never there with Asuelo.”

She also later added, “I think what has kept me with Asuelo for so long is keeping my family together. But I think I’m always just torturing myself. I just feel like I’m going to lose something no matter what I choose. And when you’ve put as much time and energy and everything into a relationship as I have… it’s just fucking shit.”

Angela comforted Kalani as she cried, reminding her that her marriage had fallen apart long before this last meeting with Dallas. “You didn’t do that,” Angela said of Asuelo’s previous indiscretions. “These are the consequences he has to face. It shouldn’t be your fault.”

“Sexy memaw” continued the thought in an interview: “Kalani should have left a long time ago. I feel her pain. I see that. One minute she’s laughing and the next she’s crying. But at the end of the day, I think she has to make the decision for her. Not for everyone else.”

Asuelu began to sense what Kalani was up to, telling the boys, “I text her, ‘Good morning my beauty, do you want me to bring you the same breakfast?’ and she was like — she’s not here. I think he’s sleeping somewhere else.”

Ed gave Asuel a little background check on his relationship: “You probably have to consider that it might not work out. I know it’s bullshit, but I just want you to start preparing for both scenarios.”

Jovi expressed his concern in the confessional: “At this moment I don’t know what to think about Kalana and Asuel. I’d love to see them go all the way, but I don’t see that happening right now.”

Ed had similar thoughts in his own interview. “Liz told me about Asuleu’s behavior and how many times he cheated on Kalani, but what Kalani is doing is the same thing,” he said. “I commend Asuelo for not giving up, but at the same time, if I were him, I’d probably try to cut my losses and move on.”

Drama flares up in a strip club

Ed was immediately in the dog house when he admitted that he had told Liz about the strip club idea. Jovi was not shocked by the betrayal. “I knew Ed couldn’t keep a secret. He continues to be himself,” he said. “You know, I’m trying to be a good boy to Ed, I’m trying to turn him on, and he just turns around and stabs me in the back. If Yara finds out I was at a strip club, it’s not going to be good.”

To save things in their relationship, Ed called Liz and asked permission to go to the club. She said yes because Ed had been honest with her and vowed to keep his hands off. But what the guys didn’t know was that Liz had Ed on speakerphone – so the other women heard the whole plan.

“It’s so disappointing that Jovi wants[s] to go to a strip club, which he knows I don’t really like him going there,” said Yara. “But not only that, he also wants to keep it a secret from me. Like be fucking honest with me.”

When they arrived at the club, Asuelo did not know how to dance as people “only see in the movies”.

He explained: “I’m watching for the first time [at] that things? Woof. I want to touch him.”

It was a free-for-all for the boys, who seemed to befriend the two women present. Ed got on stage to dance and even tore off his shirt. Asuel was given a lap dance by two women, and Ed helped himself a little. According to Jovi, Ed “grabbed the stripper’s ass,” while Yara’s husband said: “Because I’m married, I know the rules – look, but don’t touch.”

Things got worse when Asuela called Michaela on FaceTime. Immediately after seeing the naked women, Michael said “no” several times and hung up. They called a second time for another quick chat with Michael, who didn’t want to participate in the boy’s trip.

“I see they are drunk in a strip club. It’s none of my business,” he said later in an interview. “I’m still trying to fix my marriage and if Angela finds out I’m working with boys, she’ll fly to Nigeria and break me up.”

He was right. Angela and the girls had a fun evening in the hot tub (with Liz and Angela flashing the group) when Angela found out that Michael was literally involved in the club night. At first she was happy that he hung up. “That’s my child,” she told him. “You passed the first test.”

But Angela’s notorious temper flared when she found out the boys had called Michael again – and he answered. “You knew they were in a strip club. Why are you going to answer another call?” she shouted.

A moment passed when Angela hung up on Michaela, but her faith in him quickly dropped. “That’s why I’m keeping my divorce papers and I want to make sure they don’t play me again,” Angela said.

Yara confronts Jovi about his love of strip clubs and his decision to keep the date a secret.

The morning after, there was another fight related to the strip club. As Jovi lay in bed hungover, Yara began to question her place in their marriage.

“You have a beautiful wife and you’re fucking obsessed with a stupid strip club and bring everyone there,” Yara said. Crying, she said in a separate interview: “I don’t know what I could do better for.” [Jovi] don’t go there.”

Jovi saw it all differently, saying in the confessional: “Now I feel like she’s just taking her insecurities out on me, and she’s doing it more than she should.”
