90 Day’s Josh and Natalie Confirm Relationship Status as ‘Friends Who Kiss’ After Breakup

Josh Weinstein and Natalie Mordovtseva are no longer together 90 day: single life…but they are not separated either.

During Monday night’s episode, the pair confirmed that they are still intimate, despite breaking up earlier in the season. They went so far as to say they spent the night together in New York ahead of filming the story.

“We are still very close. We’re friends,” Josh said.

Host Shaun Robinson then chimed in and asked: “Friends who kiss when they say hello?”

However, Josh confirmed that it was more than that. “We are kissing. We – I mean, she overslept last night,” he added.

He also clarified that there was a no contact period when Josh and Natalie broke up (as seen on screen). “Well, we broke up and didn’t talk for a while, and Natalie needed help,” Josh said, explaining the reason for their reunion. “Something happened. She came to me and we, like, became close again.”

A car accident brought them together again, as Natalie came to Josh for support.

Urgent or not, it still hasn’t changed Natalie and Josh’s predicament: he still doesn’t consider her his girlfriend. “We can’t break the cycle with Josh because he’s not moving our relationship in any direction,” Natalie said.

The conversation ended with Natalie demanding an answer for what they are – no, unlike past episodes. Josh could never fully commit, even when Natalie moved to LA to be closer to him. However, he still has a big role in Natalie’s life through his finances. He paid several months in advance for Natalie’s rent and admitted that regardless, he was still giving her money to pay for her lifestyle in LA.

Cast members questioned why Josh felt the need to financially support Natalie if they weren’t in a relationship. He cited his “concern” for her, while denying the “father vibes” of the others 90 days the faces said it was giving away.

Even Natalie asked: “Why from the beginning, at least for 2000 dollars a month, the apartment cost so many things on me, Ukrainian?”

“I was trying to stay away from the sugar daddy vibes,” Josh added. “I actually told her, like, look, I’m not your sugar daddy. Like, I’m helping you.”

Natalie ended her relationship with Josh earlier this season when she said he couldn’t give her what she wanted: an engagement and children. Josh later stated that the split was the right decision.

Natalie has since asked her estranged husband, Michael “Mike” Youngquist, if he wants to give their romance another shot, particularly at starting a family together. Mike quickly rejected Natalie’s offer, leaving her devastated and confused.

As the season ended, Natalie’s biggest goal seemed to be welcoming the kids. But whether she will do it alone or with her partner remains unknown.
