Arvind Kumar Sharma was born on Wednesday, July 11, 1962 (age 60 years; as of 2022), in Kajha Khurd, Mur, Uttar Pradesh district. He was born in a rural area and grew up doing housework, cleaning the front of houses, cleaning half-tooth drainage systems, feeding cattle and regulating seasonal plantations. He spent his childhood witnessing his father contributing to the development of the village. His father was well established in the first tube and played a key role in the establishment of a secondary school in the name of Pundit Alagoo Rai Shashtri in the village. He attended local schools, one in his village and another in an adjoining village called Khurhat. He received his secondary education in Rasla, Bahria District. Thereafter, he did his intermediate studies in the science stream at Dav Inter College in Maui and passed his 10th and 12th rank from this UP board. Later, he attended University of Allahabad, where he pursued BA in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics, in the field of Political Science. In his academics he was a topper and obtained first grade grades. During his college years he used to compose and recite poems and ghazals, participated in stage plays, skits and skits. Thereafter, he held a UGC fellowship as a Research Fellow (D. Phil) while pursuing a career as a lecturer in the Department of Political Science.

Ak Sharma was born into a religious Hindu family, following Brahma Baba, Syed Baba, Banjaari Mai, Deeh Baba, Kali Various deities such as Maa, Deiya Mai and Shiva. His father chanted Rudrashtakam, a Sanskrit composition from the Rudra devotional composed by the Hindu bhakti poet Tulsidas. His mother used to pray to Lord Surya through the ritual of offering water to the sun every morning. He grew up listening to the holy narrations of Hindu gods Satya Narayan and Ram Charit Manas, another form of Tulsidas religious narrative.

In April 2021, when Uttar Pradesh Varanasi was struggling under the second Covid surge, Sharma was appointed as the district’s ‘Kulvid Prabari’ Covid Prabhari)”.
