Clayton Echard and Susie Evans, who moved in together after the 26th season of The Bachelor, will no longer be living together. The couple, who now live in Virginia, want to relocate and maintain their long-distance romance. The reality star announced that he intends to move to Arizona, while his girlfriend Susie would go to Los Angeles. Speaking on Dear Media’s Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast, Clayton said:
“We’re in Virginia Beach now, but the next step is for me to go to Scottsdale and for her to move to Los Angeles in the meantime.”
Clayton and Susie’s relationship takes a new turn in Neženja.
After getting Susie back after The Bachelor, the couple decided to live together. They decided to live separately in different places and have a long distance relationship after spending several months under the same roof in Clayton’s hometown of Virginia Beach. During his podcast interview, he stated:
“We say, ‘We don’t know if this will last a month [relationship] or if it’s going to be a lifelong relationship, but there’s no pressure.” Let’s just love and be happy for each other.”
The two move to different places to achieve their ambitions and goals. When asked about the location, he said:
“We’re only a 50-minute flight away, but we’re both following our ambitions and I believe these are the places we want to be.”
He also claimed that Susie suggested living separately because he had a demanding work schedule. He stated:
“I mean, I’m on the computer 10 to 12 hours a day.” So she said, ‘Clayton, I’m going to LA, and then we can see each other on the weekends.’ And we’ll see what happens. We’re not sure if we’ll like the long drive.”

A couple of bachelors are doing well.
Regardless of the distance, Clayton and Susie will do anything to make their long-distance love work, according to the former.
“A little more space never hurts.”
He even thinks that “distance makes the heart grow fonder,” but if they feel that distance is affecting their relationship, one partner will replace the other. As for the future, he said:
“She has her own ambitions and goals. We will try it too. If it doesn’t work out and we decide, ‘We don’t like this distance, it hurts,’ one of us will move to the other.”
After the 26th season of The Bachelor, the couple got married. The bachelor admitted in one of the episodes that he is in love with her and two other finalists, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey. Susie stormed off the stage after the news stunned all three girls. After much drama and thought he decided not to give the last rose to any of the remaining ladies. Instead, when The Bachelor ended, he returned to win Susie. Eventually they met and started living together.
